Our History
Through our affiliation with the Lamar Hunt family, Hunt Capital has a proud heritage in the private equity investment sector. Historically, the private investment efforts of the Lamar Hunt family have been conducted through Unity Hunt, Inc. and its affiliated enterprises. Over the past 50 years, Unity Hunt has accumulated over $3 billion of assets world-wide through long-term investments in enterprises spanning a wide variety of industries.

In 1993, the private investment activities of the Hunt family were institutionalized with the creation of the Hunt Capital Group. Under the management of Hunt Capital, Fund I and Fund II invested in many outstanding companies in multiple industries. In addition, we expanded the geographic coverage of Hunt Capital by establishing an affiliate relationship with Easton Hunt Capital Partners in New York.

More recently, we formed Trinity Hunt Partners (Fund III) with Capital Z Investment Partners to focus on middle-market companies in the Southwest region of the United States.

As a result of our heritage in private investing and experience in managing operating companies, we feel we have developed a distinctive investment philosophy that enables us to bring value beyond the capital we commit to our partners.
