Mr. Alan W. Tompkins
Mr. Tompkins joined Hunt Capital Group in 2003 as Vice President and General Counsel. He also serves as Vice President and General Counsel of Hunt Sports Group and Unity Hunt, Inc., where he manages legal matters for the Lamar Hunt family, and their affiliated entities.

Mr. Tompkins graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a bachelor's degree in economics in 1983. He earned MBA and JD degrees from SMU in 1984 and 1993, respectively, and a master's degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas in 1990. He is licensed as a CPA in Texas, and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1993.

After earning his MBA in 1984, Mr. Tompkins became vice president of a merchant banking group with holdings in manufacturing, distribution, and broadcasting enterprises. In 1988 he joined First RepublicBank Corporation to assist with the bankruptcy reorganization efforts of that company. He later served as Associate General Counsel of Richmont Corporation and its affiliated entities. In conjunction with his role at Richmont, Mr. Tompkins served as General Counsel for Nukote International, an international manufacturer of printer supply products, and as General Counsel of Attenza, Inc., a nationally-recognized internet services provider.
